This merch box is dedicated to the ship between Feng Xin and Mu Qing, typically referred to as FengQing. The theme of this merch box is Autumn Days, Winter Nights, which will feature merch pertaining to Autumn, Winter, and the holiday season~email: [email protected]
The FengQing Merch Box is a fan-made pay-for-production (p4p) project.This merch box will feature SFW pieces only. All participants must be 18+.This project is a celebration of Feng Xin and Mu Qing's relationship and their love through the Autumn, Winter, and holiday seasons. We mainly want to focus on canon (includes pre-canon and post-canon) and modern themed pieces with a focal point on autumn and winter. Potential topics include but are not limited to: Pumpkin patches, Halloween, autumn scenery, spooky vibes, snow fights, Christmas, ice skating, New Years, etc. We hope to convey a lot of sweet, cozy vibes and silly FengQing antics in the merch made for this box.Sign ups for the merch box will be held in November. What is the theme of this project?
The theme of the zine is Autumn Days, Winter Nights which focuses on the love between FengQing during the autumn and winter seasons. Merch will incorporate fall and winter elements as well as holiday themed merch too.How many contributors will there be?
We are looking for around 8-15 merch artists.Will there be pinch hitters?
Yes, we will select several pinch hitters from the initial pool of applicants in case one of our artists drops out. We will contact each pinch hitter of their status after the selection period.What is the selection process like?
We are looking for overall skill and understanding of light, color schemes, composition, and anatomy. You do not need previous merch-making experience.How will contributors be compensated?
It is our goal to provide every contributor with a free merch box (shipping included), however due to the unpredictability of sales, we may not be able to fulfill that goal. However we can guarantee all our contributors will be able to purchase the merch box at production price if we cannot fully cover a free merch box for everyone. Alternatively, we may be able to cover the merch box and contributors just pay shipping. Sales will determine what option we offer.How will mods and contributors communicate over the course of the merch box?
We will be communicating through our FengQing Merch Box discord server. Please note to take part in the zine, you need to be able to communicate with mods through discord.How much of a commitment will this merch box be?
Participating in any fandom event is a time commitment, so please ask yourself before signing up if you have the time to give to the merch box - this includes creating the merch, submitting check-ins ON TIME, and communicating with the mods. We understand sometimes things happen and you will need to drop out, hence why we have pinch hitters, however for things to run as smoothly as possible we want to make sure we have contributors who are able to fully commit to the merch box and keep to the designated timeline. If you do need to drop out, notify us immediately so we can give our pinch hitters as much time as possible. Furthermore, if check-ins are ignored and you have not reached out to a mod in the designated time frame, unfortunately we will have to drop you. The final deadline is nonnegotiable.How do I apply?
During creator sign ups, you will submit two sample pieces that are a good representation of your artistic skill. If you've made merch in the past, you may submit images of those instead of a digital piece.Are there any requirements I should be aware of?
You will need to make sure your piece is converted to CMYK for printing purposes. If you don't know how to do this, please reach out to the mods and we can help! We will let you know merch specific requirements when we assign you your item(s).Are you looking for any specific merch?
We are open to any and all merch ideas, but some staples we would like to offer are prints, photocards, stickers, sticker sheets, buttons, keychains, acrylic standees, enamel pins, and tote bags.Can I submit merch ideas to the zine?
